Sins of A Father: The Ministry
Eddy Price
17-year-old spontaneous, fun, and impulsive Eddy Price, the youngest child of the Price family. Triggered and troubled by past childhood experiences, along with current family events, Eddy finds himself spiraling into a dark headspace full of buried resentment mysteriously directed towards his father.
Mel Price
"No non-sense" Melissa “Mel” Price, older sister of Eddy Price. Mel has recently graduated college from her hometown University with her master’s in psychology. Shortly after graduation, Mel moved back home and began transitioning from her current job as a social worker for CPS to opening her counseling firm.
Richard Price
Loving husband of Theresa Price and father of Mel
Price and Eddy Price. A 24-year veteran of the county police department, Richard is aspiring to obtain the title of Police chief and has been since he first joined the police force. Demanding hours kept Richard away for most of Mel and Eddy’s childhood, but he feels if he keeps the bills paid and food in the house, he is doing his full duties as a husband and father.
Theresa Price
God-fearing, kind, and patient Theresa Price wife of Richard Price, gentle mother of Mel Price and Eddy Price, and sister of Terri Richardson. Paralegal turned housewife, Theresa sacrificed her career in law to support Richard’s dream of one day becoming Police Chief and turned to fully focus on her duties as a wife and mother.
Leo West
Academic scholar, southern gentleman, and peaceful-natured Leonard “Leo” West, cousin of Eddy and Mel Price and son of Theresa and Terri’s older brother. Leo is currently attending college at Mel’s alma mater, studying to earn his degree in Biomechanical Engineering. Raised in a close family, Eddy looks at Leo as the grounding older brother he never had, and Leo humbly accepts that responsibility by doing everything he can to guide Eddy throughout life as a black man in America.
Terri Richardson
Wild, hilarious, and blunt Laterria “Terri” Richardson, loving wife of Kevin Richardson and protective older sister of Theresa Price. Terri instantly becomes the life of the party in every room she steps in. Often misunderstood as having a “problem”, Terri never shies away from an opportunity to celebrate with a little drink; she lives life to the fullest spreading laughter and wisdom with her inappropriate comments coupled with life lessons attributed by the graceful and merciful power of God-though she walks a “spicy” spiritual journey.
Kevin Richardson
Calm, stoic, and understanding Kevin Richardson, husband of Terri Richardson. Though married into the family, Kevin is the peace this family needs. Kevin speaks in wisdom and peace in every conversation. Serving as the father Eddy wishes he had, Kevin holds Eddy close to his heart but finds himself riddled with shock and begins to become concerned as he recognizes and learns the root of Eddy’s pain and dismay towards Richard.
May Fredrick
17-year-old gritty, fun, and spontaneous Megan “May” Fredrick, best friend of Eddy Price. May and Eddy instantly became best friends from their moment of introduction. Bonding over similar interests and immature comedic situations, May proves to be the grounding source in Eddy’s life, as they prepare to walk the graduation stage together.
Detective Swift
Richard’s young Prodigy within the police department and close friend of the family. Det. Swift arrives to the Prices’ home to deliver heart breaking news that’ll change Richard’s perspective on life and his family dynamics.
The Higher Being
All-knowing and all-powerful Higher Being stops time to deliver a powerful message and second chance for Richard.
